Welcome! Spring is in the air, and you know what that means? Shows, planting, and harvesting! That's right, we're hosting a show for farm horses!

Running Date: Now (May 9th) to August 18th

General Rules

1. No flaming or bashing others! This is supposed to be a fun event. If I see any mean and nasty comments at anyone, they will be disqualified. So be nice!

2. Any and all breeds are welcome!  Draft horses are usually used for farming, but any horse can compete in this show!

3. Special powers cannot be used to gain an unfair advantage

4. Full body and Headshot are accepted!

5. Photo backgrounds are allowed, but be sure to credit the stock owner!

6. You can enter a team of up to 4 horses, 3, 2, or just a single horse

7. No pre-registration! Just leave me a note or comment with a link to your entry!

Now, unto the classes!

Halter/Conformation  Your team or single horse are judged on how they are put together and how they behave in the ring. NOTE: if you are going to enter a team into this one, you can enter both horses in one entry, but please have them distanced enough so I can see most of both of them :)

Plowing Your team/single horse is given a select area to plow. Is judged on how straight the rows are and how quickly it can be done.
Video example [link]

Hay Cutting Team or single horse plow a selected plot of the field. Judged on how quickly and calm the horse can do it.
Video example [link]

Log Pull Team or single horse are hitched up to 2 or 3 logs (depending on horses size and strength) and go through a marked out course through the woods to one of the fields. Judged on ease of handling and effectiveness at hauling the logs through the woods.
