YAY MORE BY THE DESERT SUN! Did a wonderful collab with my partner in crime, norree! She did the sketch and the AMAZING lines (they are just, nomalicious), and I did the coloring and shading! This was so much fun to do, thank you so much norree for doing a collab with me, it was so much fun to color your lines!This is Amaya, my character from our (mine and norree's) rp By the Desert Sun. She's just adorable, I love her so much
I tried cell shading again, and I must say, I really like how it turned out. I had so much fun coloring and shading and figuring out where each shading piece should go, especially on her dress! The fence was fun to do, getting the grainy look and those rocks in the back! Now looking at it, I may change her name plate, sine the green just, doesn't quite go with the rest of it? I was trying for a cactus look, but I will be keeping those flowers.

WOW! You did SUCH a great job colouring this! This is so awesome to see. YOUR POWERS, COMBINED, ARE UNSTOPPABLE! I really love how you did the cell shading. It's colourful and adds lots of different values to her dress and face. I love EVERYTHING about this! I really love how you captured the desert lighting, including with the shadows. (Makes me want to play Duke Nukem--you know the level!) The gradient on the sky is such a nice and subtle touch. I also really love how you coloured her face, adding in some light scar tissue. The whole thing is just SO GREAT! (I really love the cactus namebox too.) This is such a great collaboration idea, since norree loves doing lineart so much and you loved colouring her lines!!
