Description
HE placed FIRST!
Strikers first show! Here he is, being moody, rearing up and striking out. He's almost a yearling now. My shading/highlighting is crap in this, but I wanted to get it done and out of the way. I'm starting to get moody horses in my stables, who knew?
Show: LWs Mini event: [link]
Name: ps Mezaj Ibn Sabbah [link]
Breed: Arabian
Age: weanling (under a year old)
Class entering: Foal Halter
Lily was upset. Their beautiful colt, Striker, still hadn't grown out of the bad habit of striking out with his hooves at people. And yet, her brother Jack insisted he get experience in the show ring. With waiting outside the ring, Striker pawed at the ground, wanting to eat some grass. But he'd get dirty and all that other stuff that comes with being a halter horse. He was getting crankier and crankier by the minute. Lily was surprised by the respect he was giving the show halter, being a tiny thing in comparison to some other halters at home.
Going into the ring, Striker did a few rears as other colts got close to him, but was mostly good. Toward the end, though, he got real angry, and was rearing and striking out. I think he needs a career changeLily thought to herself, as she tried to get him to behave himself.
